This was a fantastic day for Skipton, a step forward with Pride and progress was made for the town and its people. It was wonderful to see so many people come out and support the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies.

We hope that this can become an annual event and will grow in its success. A huge thank you to all the entertainers, staff, supporters, sponsors and all who helped make the day such a success.

Have your say on how anti-social behaviour offenders make amends in North Yorkshire and York

The North Yorkshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner has launched her online Community Remedy Options Survey which is an opportunity to consult on North Yorkshire’s Community Remedy document that contains a list of appropriate actions that can be carried out by a person who has engaged in anti-social behaviour or committed an offence, admits to their involvement and is to be dealt with for that behaviour or offence without court proceedings.

These options aim to be victim-focused, providing appropriate outcomes for offenders to take account of their actions and repair the harm caused.

The survey is running for seven weeks and will be closing on 10 January 2023. To complete the survey please visit: https://bit.ly/CommunityRemedySurvey
