Skipton Sheep Day is back and bigger than ever!

The event will take place on Sunday 30th June 2024.

With this year's event exploring Skipton's heritage further, we have decided to hold it across the town including, Skipton High Street and Skipton Canal Basin.

We will have something for everybody, and a fantastic line up of entertainment happening throughout the day!

A road closure will be in place from 6am until 8pm covering the whole of Skipton High Street.

Although we have a road closure in place, we do have various car parks available, including our Park & Ride.

Gateway House Park & Ride - £3 per vehicle (Gateway House, Skipton BD23 1UD)

Skipton High Street Car Park (access from Rectory Lane)

Coach Street Car Park

Cavendish Street Car Park

For those travelling to the event either via bus or train, then we have some travel guidance for you!

Skipton Bus Station is only a 2-minute walk to the venues.

Skipton Train Station is situated on Broughton Road.

Take a right after leaving the train station and walk up Broughton Road into the Town Centre. (10-minute walk into the Town Centre)

Events in Skipton

Skipton Town Council plans, supports, organises and funds a range of events and festivals in the Town each year - either in its own right, or in partnership with other local groups and organisations.

The Council also works closely with the Skipton Business Improvement District (BID) to develop plans for new events and to enhance those already taking place.
