Each year, Skipton Town Council allocates an amount of money for distribution to local community groups to help fund small projects or the purchase of items of equipment.

Application for 2010 is now closed.

The Council only makes a distribution of grants once per year. The decisions are made at the JULY meeting of the Public Services Committee – and funds are released to successful applicants as soon as possible after the meeting.

Grants are available, generally, for amounts between £100 and £1000.

Normally, the Council will advertise the availability of grants during April and May. You may submit an application at any time, but any application received will be held on file until all applications are considered at the meeting in July.

The closing date for applications for 2011 will be in mid June.
